Step1
We launch the Heartland site to your community so that people have
heard about it and have begun to use the site.
Step 2
You identify a group to co-ordinate the fundraising project at your
school. We send you all the relevant printed promotional material.
Step 3
The co-ordinating group sends out our brochures with the school
newsletter or with your students.
Step 4
The co-ordinating group identifies other local businesses that might
not have children at your school. You give us a list of business
names & addresses (preferably digitally) and we send out personalised
letters with application forms to them. We give you an "Action
List" - a list of ideas for you to try and types of businesses
to approach.
Step 5
The co-ordinating group follows up with phone calls to businesses.
This step makes a huge difference if you want to maximise you
fundraising return and really get your community buzzing.
Step 6
The co-ordinator receives application forms and cheques from subscribers.
The co-ordinator records details of cheques received and couriers
the application forms and payments* to us using our pre-paid CourierPost
bags.
Step 7
Heartland receives the applications and creates web pages for the
applicants. We email applicants directly with instructions on how
to update their website themselves, and provide a support service
directly to them for a year.
Step 8
We send you a cheque. The total income is split 50/50. There
are no strings attached - you can do what you want with your half.

Throughout the year you can raise even more
money by listing more new businesses and selling our Property
Signs direct to your community. Click here
for more.
And don't forget we repeat the process annually
- it's a lot easier in the second year and you get a regular
annual income.

There are no direct financial costs to you.
It's just a question of a bit of your time, some organisational
skills and a dose of get up and go. We will want to place
small adverts in your school newsletter from time to time to raise
the profile of your businesses and groups by reminding everyone
to give Heartland a go.

Part of the process of ensuring this service is
attractive to business involves us launching the website to users
first. When businesses see a website is active and has plenty of
subscribers/users they are more likely to be convinced that it is
worth advertising themselves. We have also found that if people
have heard about the website, there is a sense of familiarity with
the name and therefore an element of trust and interest is already
generated - we basically prime your businesses and groups to receive
the fundraising material.
We provide all printed materials and an efficient
process to use. We also provide you with full telephone support
and are happy to answer any questions and take on board any suggestions.
We will maintain all aspects of the Heartland website and once businesses,
community groups and clubs have registered, we are their point of
contact regarding any aspects of the service they are paying for.
* Payment Process
Processing payments can be done in at least two ways.
